Ouachita Gravel Grind – ITT

Boom! Gravel racing is back, well semi-sort of at least. This year, the OGG went off as an individual time trial, to keep COVID compliant, and to keep everyone as safe as possible. Normally this race is plagued by absolutely miserable conditions: rain, sleet, snow, ice, wind, damp and dank. This year the temp wasn’t horrible (38), and was warmed by a bright shining sun. I’m starting out on the right foot, with a podium in the first race of my season. My time was good enough for 3rd place, and it actually paid $50! Win.
